On 6th Feb (CNY eve), Belinda Lee from Mediacorp is coming to Timor to interview my ah hia (brother) and his wife. The production crew and Belinda will be joining us for 'reunion' dinner. Cross my fingers, hope they will bring some authentic cny food from singapore. Hee...
After which, I will bringing them up to the mountains to interview another missionary D. My dear fren Eunice (also missionary in Timor) suggested that we should 'help' Mediacorp gain more viewers for this episodes by asking the production to take publice transport to the mountains. Oooh... evil...
It's 2 hours of bumpy ride with at least 30 timorese and other stuff like rice, veggies, fire wood, pigs, chickens, goats and tyres in the container like truck. Climbing up the vehicle is an art, so is getting out of the vehicle. That takes skills. Well, Belinda is quite sporty right, hope she has done rock climbing before and she will not freak out. Must prepare tissue papers and plastic bags just in case any of them cries or vomit. Oh, must bring axe brand medicated oil too! Must write down on my list.
After visiting D in the mountains, I believe the whole experience will impact Belinda and her team. Hope they will learn many precious lessons.
